Terms of Service

1. Parties, Definitions & Acceptance of Terms

This Terms of Service Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between Vangu AI ("Platform", "vangu.dev", "api.vangu.dev") and any individual or legal entity registering, generating API keys, purchasing plans or balance credits, or utilizing the API gateway ("User" or "Developer").

Accessing services via the Vangu website or API interfaces constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these terms. Parties who do not agree must refrain from generating API credentials or transmitting traffic.

2. Scope of Service & API Access License

Vangu AI provides programmatic gateway access to high-performance AI inference models (GPT-6 Astra, GPT-6 Sol, GPT-6 Luna, GPT-5.6 Sol, GPT-5.6 Terra, GPT-5.6 Luna, and GPT Image models) via standard OpenAI (`/v1/chat/completions`, `/v1/images`), Anthropic (`/anthropic/v1/messages`), and Codex CLI (`/v1/responses`) REST and SSE streaming protocols.

The User is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable limited license to utilize the platform within commercial or individual software stacks, conditional upon strict compliance with this Agreement and applicable laws.

3. Account Security, Credential Custody & 2FA

API keys (Bearer tokens) and account credentials are strictly confidential. The User assumes full responsibility for safeguarding API keys and ensuring they are never exposed in public repositories or client-side web applications.

• Maintaining active Two-Factor Authentication (2FA / TOTP) on developer accounts is strongly recommended.
• Upon any suspected credential compromise or leak, the User is obligated to immediately revoke and rotate the API key via the control panel.
• All financial consumption and legal liability arising from requests signed with the User’s API key belong solely to the account holder.

4. Plan Models, 00:00 Quota Reset & Concurrency

The platform provides three foundational operating models:

• Daily Plans: Allocated daily request and token quotas automatically reset and refresh every night at 00:00 (Europe/Istanbul - UTC+3). Unused daily allowances do not roll over to subsequent days, cannot be merged, and are non-refundable.
• Request Packs: Dedicated request credit pools are consumed over the fixed term (1-day, 7-day, or 30-day) and expire automatically upon depletion or term conclusion.
• Concurrency Slots: Each tier enforces a fixed ceiling of simultaneous in-flight connections (e.g., 10 concurrent requests). Exceeding this limit triggers automated HTTP 429 (Too Many Requests) responses.
• Model Multipliers: Token multipliers corresponding to individual cognitive tiers are calculated and deducted according to the published rates on the Model Pricing page.

5. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Activities

Actions threatening the integrity, availability, or security of the Vangu ecosystem are strictly forbidden. The following conduct results in immediate account suspension or termination:

• Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS/DoS) attacks, brute-force requests, vulnerability probing, or gateway bypass attempts.
• Utilizing APIs for malicious software development, automated exploit construction, cyberattacks, or phishing operations.
• Generating or facilitating material involving child exploitation, terrorism, severe hate speech, or illicit weapons manufacturing.
• Intentional infringement of third-party intellectual property, proprietary software copyrights, or trade secrets.

In severe violations, Vangu reserves the explicit right to terminate access unilaterally without refund and report abusive activity to law enforcement authorities.

6. Billing, Payments & Wallet Policy

All payment transactions are handled through Stripe under PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance and 3D Secure authentication. Raw credit card numbers, expiration dates, or CVC codes are never handled or stored on Vangu servers.

• Pay-As-You-Go wallet balances are decremented with sub-cent micro-billing precision based on real-time token inference telemetry.
• All transactions are formally invoiced in accordance with statutory tax regulations and delivered electronically to the verified email.
• Expired subscriptions pause API dispatch until successful payment renewal is confirmed.

7. Cancellation, Refunds & Right of Withdrawal

Pursuant to consumer protection statutes governing distance sales contracts, agreements concerning "services executed instantaneously in digital environments or intangible goods delivered immediately" are exempt from the statutory right of withdrawal.

No refunds are issued for accounts where API credentials have been activated, quotas initialized, or wallet balances consumed. In cases of persistent gateway faults attributable directly to Vangu, compensatory wallet credits may be granted upon support review.

8. Intellectual Property & Zero Model Training Guarantee

All proprietary rights, copyright, and title in prompts, images, contextual inputs, and output completions remain exclusively with the User.

9. Service Level Target (SLA) & Limitation of Liability

Vangu operates its gateway architecture with a target 99.98% annual uptime benchmark and multi-path redundancy.

Temporary disruptions caused by force majeure, major internet backbone fiber cuts, global upstream model provider outages, or scheduled maintenance windows do not qualify for consequential damages.

Vangu shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages. In all events, Vangu’s maximum aggregate financial liability under this Agreement is capped strictly at the total amount paid by the User during the 1 (one) month immediately preceding the incident.

10. Amendments, Validity & Jurisdiction

Vangu reserves the right to amend these terms periodically. Revised provisions become legally operative immediately upon publication at vangu.dev/terms.

This Agreement shall be interpreted and governed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey. The Courts and Enforcement Offices of Istanbul (Caglayan) hold exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
